Ecosmart Insulating Shade System Certified For Federal Energy Efficiency Tax Credits
As of February 17, 2009, The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act made some changes to the previous energy efficient improvements tax credits. Under section 25C of the Internal Revenue Code homeowners can now receive a 30 percent credit on the costs of qualified energy efficiency improvements. This tax credit applies to improvements made to a primary residence from Jan. 1, 2009 through Dec. 31, 2010. Tax credits are available for many types of home improvements.
How to Receive the Tax Credit
Consumers who purchase the EcoSmart Energy Saving Sidetrack system and have them ‘placed into service’ (made ready and available for use) within existing homes from Jan. 1, 2009 to Dec. 31, 2010 are eligible for 30% tax credit.
