The system consists of side tracks which attach to your window frame with magnets and specially fitted end caps which along with the specially notched sides of the shades minimize energy loss - heating or cooling! Tracks can be removed to make use of tilt-in windows for cleaning.

Energy Saving Side Track System is for Inside Mount applications only.

Requirements and Features:

• Minimum inside mount depth: 1 1/2"
• Flush inside mount: 2"
• The widest width of the window cannot exceed the narrowest width of the window by more than 3/8".
• Side Tracks are easy to install. A adhesive backed magnetic strip attaches to the window casings. The tracks have a hidden magnetic strip which sticks to the magnetic strip on the casing..
• Tracks made of durable, high-tech plastic.
• The shades are notched to fit over the track and the bottom rail of the shade  is fitted with specially designed end caps.
• Increases privacy and room darkening by closing side light gaps between the shade and window frames.

A great fit for most windows

ComforTrack® is available for inside mount, standard rectangular windows only. To ensure a proper fit, measure the width of your window in 3 places - top, middle and bottom. Use the smallest measurement when ordering. If there is more than 3/8" difference between the widest width of the window and the narrowest width of the window you should not order Energy Saving Side Tracks because your shade will not operate properly . The minimum inside mount depth is 1-1/2 inches. The flush inside mount depth is 2 inches.

Great at keeping out light too

Energy Saving Side Tracks become a light-tight privacy enhancing system when fabricated with BlackOut Cellular Shades. This combination blocks almost all incoming light, including damaging UV radiation. Great for nurseries and media rooms. Please note that this is not designed as a complete light block system.

Web Color Selection:
Most web colors* come with end caps (on bottom rail) which match the side rail, not the bottom rail. For example, the white side track will have a white end cap and the brown side track comes with a brown end cap.

*These colors: Light Filtering: Alto (White), Harp (Cream) and Aria (Lt Beige) Vienna Woods, and Dance will have end caps matching the bottom rail unless otherwise requested.
