[Google Review] We searched Google, found EcoSmart and read the reviews. I’d like to add my appreciation for a small business that delivers great quality products that fit right and will last a long time. We are very happy with our purchase and their service.
[Google Review] I did a lot of research because this is the first time I’d ordered and installed shades on my own. I got some in a previous house, but a professional measured all the windows and helped me select. This time, I wanted to try it on my own and needed a large shade for my bedroom to block out light, help with energy efficiency, and prevent my dogs from jumping on the window with the top-down, bottom-up manual feature. I also didn’t want exposed strings. At first I was skeptical about buying from EcoSmart because they were one of the first companies that popped up in my Google search, which doesn’t always equate to quality. This time it did. I ordered 10 samples and they arrived quickly and all looked great—it was difficult to choose the best for my room. I measured and remeasured my window, worried that I’d get the measurements slightly wrong and the shade wouldn’t fit. This happened with the curtains I was using—they were too short. But a few weeks after ordering, I got the shade in the mail. It was well packed and the instructions were good. It took me about 30 minutes to install because I had to adjust one of the brackets several times, but I made it work, and they look and function great. The only downside is that the prices went up a good amount between the time I started shopping and when I ordered, but regardless, this seems to be a case of “you get what you pay for”, and I’ll likely buy from EcoSmart for my other windows. [Google Review] I appreciated the direct service from actual individuals with names, who responded to my questions about the availability of side rails (they are looking for a new supplier but pointed me to helpful resources to add side rails myself) and the availability of fabric lines that were being discontinued (they were able to fill an order for me from remaining stock of discontinued lines). I’m pleased with the quality of the double-cell room darkening shades I ordered. Everything shows the influence of actual human beings who want satisfied customers, down to the very sturdy packaging for shipping, ensuring no damage en route. I was able to complete installation of the two shades I ordered, working carefully, in under two hours. (If you have a staff member create the order for you, as opposed to ordering directly from the website, do be careful to confirm all the final measurements. I needed to correct a stray digit.)

I waited to write this review, although our experience with them was great right from the beginning. Knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating. They sent out samples so we could choose from hands-on materials, and worked with us to custom fit the shades. Now, three years later, the shades are still in great shape, work perfectly, and make a huge difference in the temperature and comfort level of our home.
