We strive to return messages within minutes, but that’s not always possible. We are a small company, and we all wear many hats. So, your customer service rep could be helping another customer on the phone, looking up an order, pulling a fabric sample or replacement part to send, collaborating with production on a question or issue, etc. In other words, in servicing someone just like you, it could take us away from the phones and email for a short period. Rest assured, though, we will get back to you at the first opportunity, and you will receive the thorough, personal assistance you deserve!
Well, it depends. Here in Vermont, we provide complete end to end service through our Gordon’s Window Decor location. Please visit GordonsWindowDecor.com to schedule a free consultation. Otherwise, EcoSmartShades.com orders are intended for the Do-It-Yourselfer. We make it extremely easy with instructions, videos, and personal assistance every step of the way. People are continually amazed at just how simple it all actually is.
In the continental USA, shipping is free! Otherwise, we base our shipping costs on the exact amount the shipper charges us (so you don’t have to worry about inflated rates!) We don’t know exactly what the cost will be until your shades are manufactured, boxed, and weighed. However, feel free to contact us prior to purchase and we’d be happy to provide a rough estimate.
Production time is generally 10-15 business days. Currently, production is running a few days beyond that. Remember, these are handcrafted, custom built, individually inspected shades. We take the time to get them exactly right!
Delivery within the continental USA is via ground shipping and generally takes 2-5 business days. Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada can take slightly longer. Overseas delivery generally takes less than a week.
Because we don’t charge for international shipping until we know what the shipper is charging us, we invoice separately for shipping. We will send you a shipping invoice after your shades are built, and your shades ship as soon as that is paid.
