How long does it take for you to get back to me?

We strive to return messages within minutes. However, that’s not always possible. We’re a small company and we all wear many hats. Our customer service reps could be helping other customers in a variety of ways. Rest assured, though, we will get back to you at the first opportunity, and you will receive the thorough, personal, friendly assistance you deserve!

Can I get measuring and installation service?


Well, it depends. Here in Vermont, we provide complete end-to-end service through our Gordon’s Window Decor location. Please visit to schedule a free consultation. Otherwise, orders are intended for the Do-It-Yourselfer. We make it extremely easy with instructions, videos, and detailed advice every step of the way. People are continually amazed at just how simple it all is.

How much does shipping cost?

In the continental USA, shipping is free! Otherwise, we base our shipping costs on the exact amount the shipper charges us (so you don’t have to worry about inflated rates!) We don’t know exactly what the cost will be until your shades are manufactured, boxed, and weighed. However, feel free to contact us prior to purchase and we’d be happy to provide a rough estimate.

How long does it take to make my shades?

Production time is generally 10-15 business days. Currently, production is running a few days beyond that. Remember, these are handcrafted, custom built, individually inspected shades. We take the time to get them exactly right!

How long will delivery take?

Delivery within the continental USA is via ground shipping and generally takes 2-5 business days. Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada can take slightly longer. Overseas delivery generally takes about a week.

When am I billed for international shipping?

Because we don’t charge for international shipping until we know what the shipper is charging us, we invoice separately for shipping. We will send you a shipping invoice after your shades are built, and your shades will ship as soon as that’s paid.
