Hi! I’m Jody the Shade Guru, that fell down this recent rabbit hole, and I made the emphatic choice to share with you all! When you work for ESS, you look at windows all the time.
At the grocery store, in restaurants, theaters, etc. You can’t help it. And then…I started noticing windows in album art when I was in a recent (AWESOME) record store in Newburyport, MA.

Annnnyhooooo….windows on albums. EVERY. WHERE.
So let’s get into it.
Blinds. To us Shade Gurus, all we see are energy suckers, stealing money from our pockets, but in the album art world….PEEKING.

Sure, drapery/curtains are dramatic. A naked window is a metaphor…shutters add dimension. But, I gotta be honest, I look forward to a time, where EcoSmart Roller and EcoSmart Cellular Shades are photographed with such artistry and showcased on an album covers near and far.
