Venetian Blinds are used OFTEN in suspense/drama. Here’s the one and only Harrison Ford.
– Roller Shades shade Michelle Dockery. (anyone else out there who wanted MORE of this series?)
– These might be the most famous window decor EVER.

– Anyone for beautiful bifold shutters? And because of them, that’s why ever MCM house had them from kitchen to living.

The Big Bang Theory’s numerous sets favored drapery with Roller Shades!
Penny’s apartment, had drapery, with Roller Shades and a Roman Shade over her sink!
Howard and Bernie’s apartment had Roller Shades and drapery, too!
Howard’s bedroom perhaps influenced his future window decor prefs!
Raj’s apartment went with Roller Shades only in his living room.

Leonard and Sheldon’s apartment have beautiful drapery!

And then there is Friends.Â
From Drapery, to Swags to Woven Wood Shades, to Roman Shades…there were a lot of changes over the years at Monica’s!
Joey and Chandler’s had a very classic pairing, of Wood Blinds and Drapery.
While Phoebe, went FULL bore! Blinds, Sheer Drapery and Room-Darkening Drapery!
And then there’s Ross’s place. Stationary Panels, and classic Wood Blinds!

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel was a bible when it came to window decor!
Drapery, cafe curtains (with and without trim) sheer drapery, stationary panels, ventian blinds, woven wood romans, trimmed drapery, and probably the most decadent, your bathroom drapery, shower curtain AND sink skirt all alllll the same fabric! WOWZA.

and in the Catskills…a valance, with matching cafe curtains, in a VERY bold floral print. wowza!
But here’s the thing…I haven’t seen Cellular Shades in film or series.
