We couldn’t be happier with these made in the USA shades. For wider openings, such as a patio door, the loop mechanism is definitely an improvement. There’s no more struggling while trying to raise up a wide, heavy shade. I’m so glad the website made the suggestion to get the smoothly cord loop for the size of shade we were ordering. It was worth a little extra money. We also love the top down feature that allows light in while maintaining privacy. You might be able to save a few dollars going somewhere else and you might get it a few days sooner but you won’t get this quality or the satisfaction of knowing you’re supporting a company that is building their products in the USA.
